About Colorlicious Chameleons |Call (916) 287-3532 | We ship anywhere in the Us
We, at Colorlicious Chameleons, breed and focus on Panther Chameleons and other chameleon species. This way our knowledge and expertise has a stronger foundation so that we can provide you with the best quality and healthy Chameleons in Sacramento, California. If you live in the United States, we can ship our babies to you.
We are not interested in producing Chameleons in great quantity or bulk, but rather hold our breeding until we can provide the most complementing sire and dam, for the best looking Colorlicious Panther Chameleons babies. It is our desire to produce Chameleons that hold superb, vibrant coloring, with unique color depth, while also considering our babies strength and health. Additionally, we partner with other quality chameleon breeders, who provide the same level of care and strength in breeding healthy, vibrant Chameleons, some are called, " Furcifer Pardalis" and may offer their breeding lines to you, as well.
We use the most recent technologies in equipment, with the most effective and loving husbandry in care and support, as closely as Nature intended for Chameleons. There are no 'short-cuts' taken in our Chameleon care and development, because we genuinely love all of our animals. As a new Chameleon owner, you will too discover that your own Chameleon will soon win your heart over, in addition to being fun to watch. Each Chameleon has their own unique personality and responses. It's fun to watch them and as they watch you!
Additionally, as long as you follow the proper husbandry care agenda, owning and caring for a Panther Chameleon, or another chameleon specie is easy.
When you buy a baby Chameleon from Colorlicious Chameleons, you might be given the pictures of it's Dam and the Sire (mother and father), or of the sire of a parent, or a sibling. If you buy from a pet shops, you will not know what the babies parents really looked like, or potential of how the baby Chameleon may look and it's colors.
Beware of anyone who tries to sell you Chameleon eggs in Sacramento, or anywhere else. Raising very young Chameleons is a delicate feat and the processes of a baby Chameleon's development during it's egg stage and birth up to age 2 months is a very fragile time, meaning it cannot ever be guaranteed that there will be survival at this stage of life. The egg should never be moved once it is placed for incubation, after the 2nd month of egg laying, because it could effect the growth of the baby, as it's parts are still developing and forming inside the shell. Unfortunately, there are some unscrupulous Chameleon 'breeders' who care more about making money from selling eggs- than caring about the health of the Chameleon, so please be careful. I was made aware of one Chameleon Breeder who recommends sacrificing the life of the mother chameleon, just to retrieve the chameleon eggs inside of her.
With that aside, if you are looking for someone that really cares about Chameleons and respects the quality and the future of this species, and you are seeking healthy and vibrantly colored Panther Chameleons in the Sacramento area (even if you live somewhere else in the United States), you will appreciate the Ambanjas, Ambilobes, Nosy Bes, and Panther Cross Chameleons that Colorlicious Chameleons provides.
